One of Nelly’s great passions is using comedy to promote important social messages, especially those relating to health. She finds it a good way to talk about serious topics without preaching or boring everyone to death!
In recent years she has teamed up with the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne to produce several shows on specific health topics. These shows have been wildly successful with sell-out seasons, knock-out audience evaluations (which are available upon request) and tours all over the country.
The shows have included some of Australia’s finest comedians such as Judith Lucy, Denise Scott, Ethel Chop, Tanya Losanno, Monica Dullard, Helen Thorn, Christine Basil and of course Nelly herself.
