After 4 sell-out shows at the Royal Women's Hospital and a return season by popular demand, Nelly and the other comedians are taking this rip-snorting women's health show on the road. The show takes a holistic view of women's health and covers everything from the politics of women's health to menopause and includes content on safer sex, emotional health, disease prevention, lesbian health, osteoporosis, the cost of health-care, alternative medicine, CALD access to health care, continence, alcohol and drugs, and much, much more.
"...overwhelmingly a highly successful event. It seems that health promotion via comedy is a very engaging and accessible format..."
The Royal Women's Hospital (RWH)
“The feedback we have received about the event has been absolutely overwhelming. The only complaints were that people had sore stomachs from laughing so hard on the night. Such sensitive topics are generally difficult to discuss, in utilising comedy as a method of delivering such messages, you all did a clever and remarkable job.”
Alicia Peardon, Barwon Health Foundation
RWH did extensive evaluations of the show. Over 300 audience members submitted surveys and the overwhelming majority of participants rated the content, relevance, satisfaction, representation of women's voices & value for money of the show as "high" or "absolutely fabulous".
